Motorcycles
Agile two wheeled vehicles allow more control through narrow jungle paths! Discover your favorite egg, bowl and bike combinations whilst overcoming the challenges of each track.
Leaderboards
Delivering Easter eggs requires keeping the egg balanced and safe with smooth driving. If you think you are good enough, challenge your friends on the leaderboards and race to deliver eggs faster than anyone in the world!
Treasures
Race through thick jungles, sandtastic beaches, crystal caves and ancient ruins of South America. Wild coconuts, cursed treasures, fires, spikes and other traps will drive you bananas!
Laugh and Cry
Jump for joy as you make insane saves, then instantly scream and shout in rage with the hopeless fails. Reactions that are perfect for live streaming!
Warning: Use your sunscreen while at the beach.
This game may or may not actually cause sunburns.
History
The idea for Eggcelerate! was conceptualized during LudumDare 46 in April 2020 and proved very entertaining. The 48 hour prototype was ranked in the top 1% for fun (12th of 1383) which led to building the full version for an Easter release in 2021. Eggcelerate! was created by a single developer with some assets provided by a live-stream community and a few freelancers.
The franchise continued with Eggcelerate! to the North Pole that originally release as an eggspansion (DLC) for Easter 2022 bringing ice and snow terrain as well as collectable snowmen and snowwomen. In November 2022 the eggspansion shifted into a full sequel of the Eggcelerate! series when planning of Eggcelerate! to the Tropics began.
To warm things up after visiting the North Pole the Easter bunny is sending players to the Tropics with sandtastic beaches and ancient temples await. A demo launched during the February 2023 Steam Next Fest to gather community feedback.
